• Blood Donation and Health Camps: Annually, in collaboration with the NSS and Red Cross Associations, DGI organizes blood donation camps, benefitting non-profit organizations and blood banks. Concurrently, health camps are conducted for the broader community's welfare, with active participation from students and staff.
• Pulse Polio Drives and Collaborations: Affiliated with NSS wings and B. Sc. Nursing programs, our students offer voluntary services during pulse polio drives. Moreover, we collaborate with esteemed NGOs like the Freedom Foundation, Rotary Clubs, and Lions Clubs to conduct awareness programs on diverse social issues.
• Awareness Promotion Campaigns: Students spearhead awareness promotion rallies and campaigns addressing critical themes such as road safety, AIDS prevention, and gender equality. These efforts extend to national occasions, ensuring widespread sensitization among students, staff, and neighboring communities.

Cultural Promotion and Support:

Support to Government Agencies:

As a responsible institution, DGI extends support to government agencies, facilitating their operational needs:

• Infrastructure Support: : Our premises are made available to government agencies like the Karnataka Public Services Commission for the conduct of state recruitment examinations. We provide infrastructural facilities and allocate human resources to ensure the seamless execution of these activities.

• Solar Energy and Rainwater Harvesting: Embracing renewable energy sources, we harness solar energy for heating and lighting purposes while actively engaging in rainwater harvesting initiatives.
• Waste Management: DGI manages electronic and hazardous waste responsibly, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and fostering a sustainable campus environment.
• Energy Conservation: Our active Green Audit Committee oversees measures to support energy conservation and carbon neutrality. We observe Energy Conservation Day monthly, reaffirming our commitment to environmental sustainability.
