SCHOLARSHIP

The Dhanwantari Institutions operates an Institutional Scholarships Scheme, designed to acknowledge academic merit and provide vital financial aid to students facing economic hardships, thereby widening access to quality education.

Annually, the Trust awards numerous scholarships, with intentions to increase this number over time. These scholarships are funded through collaborations with the community, some named after generous sponsors, and others established by the Dhanwantari Institution Education Trust.

DGI Merit Scholarships

Merit scholarships at Dhanwantari Institutions are divided into two categories: Annual and course-based,
Duration : lasting for one year but renewable for a selected student annually.

The criteria for awarding these scholarships are as follows:

  • The top scorer in the DGI -conducted test in the first year of their PUC/UG/PG course earns the merit scholarship for that year.
  • The highest achiever in university/board examinations of the first year receives the scholarship in the second year.
  • The top scorer in the university examinations of the second year of their UG course is awarded the scholarship in the third year.

Recognition and appreciation of sponsors are as follows:

  • Merit Scholarships will bear the name of the sponsor.
  • The sponsor's name will be prominently featured on certificates awarded to recipients.
  • Sponsors will be invited annually to the scholarship-awarding ceremony for their nominees.
  • Sponsors will receive regular communication with all relevant information

Girl Student Scholarships

Girl Student Scholarships are specifically designed to support and empower female students in their academic pursuits. These scholarships aim to address gender disparities in education and provide financial assistance to girls who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to their education. Through these scholarships, female students are given the opportunity to pursue their educational goals and contribute positively to their communities and society as a whole.
